The START!

Hi, I’m Scott Leonard and this is the start of my journey for starting an online business.

I’m going to apologize right now for many things, laughs, but mostly because this is my first blog and I don’t consider myself the best writer so I’m hoping those that follow are able to focus on the content and messages vs how something is written.

So today, it’s Tuesday, December 15th here in Connecticut. Covid is rearing it’s ugly head again and the virus has shaken my year to the core. (Like it’s done for so many other people)

I’ve been blessed that I’ve kept my main job, which I love, however it has taken away the ability for me to work my part time jobs as they were all in the catering business (either Bartending or serving).

Side note: Being the ever optimist, I will probably focus on the good in my life, however, I don’t want to minimize the challenges we have all faced this year. I just choose to focus on the opportunities as I believe in “you get what you give and what you focus on improves”.

Both of these imply that if you focus on the good, are grateful for what you have, then that will grow in your life, and if you give freely to others, you will get the same in return. Being a person of Strong Christian faith, I try to follow both as much as I can.

But I digress, and as I am not able to have a physical part-time job, due to Covid, I have started an online company that I’m trying to get off the ground.

This blog is probably more therapy for me (smiles) as I’m going to write about my successes, struggles, and outright failures daily if my life permits.

I do this, yes for my therapy, but also in hopes that successes can help someone else struggling in the same area, and perhaps they can learn from my own failures to avoid them and relate to my struggles.

Looking over this blog I feel this is a good start and I’ll begin a second one specifically talking about my journey so far (to catch everyone up) and then start a daily “where’s where I’m at” blog.
